State Bank of Hyderabad Q1 net rises 11% to Rs 251 cr

The bank had reported a standalone net profit of Rs 227.21 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.

State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), an associate of SBI, on Friday reported 10.5 percent growth in net profit at Rs 251.45 crore for the June quarter of current fiscal. The bank had reported a standalone net profit of Rs 227.21 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal. Total income of the bank rose to Rs 3,829.98 crore in the first quarter of 2015-16, from Rs 3,527.62 crore in the three month period of last fiscal.

The gross non-performing assets (NPAs) as a percentage of total advances declined to 5.14 percent during the quarter under review from 6.26 percent in the same quarter last fiscal, SBH said in a filing to BSE.
