Focused on feed biz, will end the year with double digit growth: Waterbase

Waterbase is up 15 percent since the start of September. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Ramakanth V Akula, CEO of Waterbase spoke about the latest happenings in the company and what led to this turnaround since the December 2016 lows.

Margin expansion can be largely attributed to the softening of raw material prices, said Akula.

We are mainly focused on the feed business this year, he said.

"For the year we are optimistic that we will end the year with a double digit growth in the feed business," he added.

Our focus this year is on how to increase our market share in the feed business and how to expand our farm care products into the country, he further added.

Current market share is about 7 percent in feed business, added Akula.
