Low-cost carrier Air Arabia is offering Indian passengers the option of paying for their tickets in monthly instalments.
The airline operates 115 weekly flights from its hub in Sharjah to 13 Indian cities, including Jaipur, Kochi, Coimbatore and Mumbai.
Air Arabia today announced the launch of "comprehensive Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) payment options for Indian travellers".
The EMI facility would be available for credit card holders of eight banks including that of SBI, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank, it said in a release.
On the carrier's website, the "self-explanatory and easy-to-follow interface will display a choice of duration for the EMI, along with the amount break-up that will be billed to the credit card statement every month", the release said.
