Sasken's revises shares buyback closing date to May 26

Sasken Communication revised forward the closing date of its ongoing equity shares buyback program to May 26 from Oct 20 earlier, the company said in press release to the stock exchanges Monday.

    Sasken Communication revised forward the closing date of its ongoing equity shares buyback program to May 26 from Oct 20 earlier, the company said in press release to the stock exchanges Monday.


    The software services provider said it has till date bought back 21.62 lakh equity shares for Rs 34.43 crores.


    The company had last year decided to buyback a maximum of 10.16% or 27.55 lakh shares from the open market by offering a maximum price of Rs 260 per shares. It had earmarked a maximum of Rs 34.54 crores for the buyback program. The buyback program started on December 2, 2010.

    Shares of Sasken Communication ended at Rs 151, down 3.14% in a weak Mumbai market.
