Haier India eyes Rs 1,800cr sales turnover in 2012

Haier India, a leading Home Appliances and Consumer Electronics brand, today said it is targeting a sales turnover of Rs 1,800 crore in the country in 2012.

This year, Haier India is looking at a turnover of Rs 1,250 crore against the turnover of Rs 825 in 2010, the company President Eric Braganza told reporters here.

In Kerala, the company is targeting a sales turnover of Rs 120 crore this year. During 'Onam' the company is expecting a sales turnover of Rs 75 crore against last year's festival period sales of Rs 25 crore.

Kerala has always been a priority state for Haier and the market has expanded tremendously over the last two years, both in terms of sales and innovative products, Braganza said. 

The capacity of the company's refrigerator manufacturing plant at Ranjangaon near Pune has been increased to touch one million units this year and 1.7 million units next year.

Haier India, is 100% subsidiary of Haier Group of China.
