State-owned BHEL today said it has bagged over Rs 4,000 crore contract for setting up a thermal power plant in Andhra Pradesh from Singareni Collieries Company.

    State-owned BHEL today said it has bagged over Rs 4,000 crore contract for setting up a thermal power plant in Andhra Pradesh from Singareni Collieries Company.

    "BHEL bagged a contract valued at Rs 4,071 crore for setting up a 1,200 MW thermal power plant of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) in Andhra Pradesh," the company said in a statement.

    BHEL will set up 2x600 MW unit for SCCL
