HP launches converged infra solutions to up agility

The US-based PC giant Hewlett-Packard (HP) on Wednesday announced a host of converged infrastructure solutions.

HP converged systems speed up solution deployment by providing a common architecture, management and security model across virtualisation, cloud and dedicated application environments.

The new applications--HP VirtualSystem, CloudSystem and AppSystem--are key elements in a client''s instant-on enterprise journey.

"HP converged systems announcement today extends the benefits of convergence to help businesses to implement applications and the required infrastructure very fast, and manage and operate the same without complexity," HP India Country Head (Converge Infrastructure Solutions), Santanu Ghose, told reporters.

HP VirtualSystem portfolio enables clients to achieve rapid deployment, maximum performance and advance management of its virtualised environments.

HP CloudSystem provides a platform for building and managing cloud services across private, public and hybrid environments. However, the AppSystem portfolio improves enterprise agility with convergence from infrastructure through applications.
