The Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) on Tuesday said that it would be organising road shows in Malaysia, Singapore, Jeddah, Riyadh, Korea and China to promote India as an international jewellery hub, slated to be held in August.

"We have seen tremendous response from various countries by way of participation in the roadshows, however, we see a huge potential of business associations being formed with these countries and hence the attempt to present to them the myriad possibilities that India presents as a global destination for design and sourcing of jewellery," GJEPC chairman Rajiv Jain said in a release.

GJEPC has been holding roadshows for the last 29 years and it has grown to be one of the largest business-to-business platforms in Asia over the years.
