UK's CRH terminates talks to buy JP Associates cement part

UK's CRH Plc has terminated the talk to buy Jaypee Cement's, a part of Jaiprakash Associates, Gujarat operations on valuations differences, reports CNBC-TV18. At 09:18 hrs Jaiprakash Associates was quoting at Rs 83.15, down Rs 2.05, or 2.41%.

UK's CRH Plc has terminated the talk to buy Jaypee Cement's, a part of Jaiprakash Associates, Gujarat operations on valuations differences, reports CNBC-TV18.

At 09:18 hrs Jaiprakash Associates was quoting at Rs 83.15, down Rs 2.05, or 2.41%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 83.80 and an intraday low of Rs 82.50.

It was trading with volumes of 107,669 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed down 0.70% or Rs 0.60 at Rs 85.20.

The share touched its 52-week high Rs 92.70 and 52-week low Rs 50.45 on 05 October, 2012 and 09 January, 2012, respectively.

Currently, it is trading 10.3% below its 52-week high and 64.82% above its 52-week low.

Market capitalisation stands at Rs 17,681.29 crore.
