The automobile major Mahindra & Mahindra has been forced to recall nearly 30,000 sport utility vehicle (SUV) XUV 500.
This recall follows glitches that have come to light in 3 different parts-- the fluid hose, the front power windows units, and the left wiper.
SUV and tractor giant says these problems are specific to certain batches of the XUV 500, manufactured between 2011 and 2012.
It adds that it is in the process of preventive replacement of these parts, that the defects would not have caused any safety-related issues, only problems with functionality.
