Aircraft maker Boeing now hopes to earn USD 130 billion from India over the next 20 years, up from USD 100 billion projected earlier, reports CNBC TV-18. This follows a better than expected performance by Boeing in India so far.

And while there have been delivery delays, Boeing is confident of covering its backlog of 107 aeroplanes worth over USD 14 billion in the next four years. The company may announce the delivery schedule for its first batch of 27 aircrafts to Air India during the Aero India in the second week of February.

Boeing has tied up with Air India for a maintenance, repair and over-haul (MRO) facility at Nagpur. This is expected to be ready in the next two years.
