Gold prices continued to rise on July 11. Gold's August contracts on the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) opened at Rs 97,252 per 10 grams today.

"Comex Gold ended marginally higher in the last session, gaining 0.3%, supported by safe-haven demand amid ongoing policy uncertainty and rising geopolitical tensions in the Red Sea. This upside came despite a stronger dollar and rising U.S. Treasury yields. Prices also found support following the release of the FOMC minutes, which showed a divided Fed, keeping rate-cut expectations alive. With no major data releases scheduled for today, gold is likely to remain range-bound in the near term," said Axis Securities.
Notably, silver has hit an all-time high today, crossing the Rs 1.11 lakh per kg-mark for the first time ever on MCX.
