IT services provider Accenture has announced the opening of its Advanced Technology Center in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar.
Inaugurated by Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik, the facility, a part of Accenture’s global delivery network, will provide services for clients across industries using the cloud, data and artificial intelligence, including generative AI, the company said in a statement on February 27.
“India is a strategic talent and innovation hub for Accenture. Our new Advanced Technology Center in Bhubaneswar underscores our commitment to strengthening our presence in the country,” Ajay Vij, the country managing director of Accenture in India, said.
The centre would draw upon Odisha’s vibrant talent pool, reputed universities, and fast-growing IT ecosystem, Vij said.
Its joins Accenture’s network of 12 Advanced Technology Centers in India (ATCI) spread across Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Indore, Coimbatore, and Nagpur.
“Our clients are looking to build a strong digital core as a source of competitive advantage and to reinvent every part of their business. Accenture’s Advanced Technology Centers in India (ATCI), which is at the centre of our global delivery and innovation network, leads some of our largest and most complex digital transformation projects,” said Mahesh Zurale, Global Lead – Advanced Technology Centers Global Network and Lead – Advanced Technology Centers, India.
The facility in Bhubaneswar would build solutions for their clients leveraging the cloud, data, and AI including generative AI,” he said, adding it would support people looking for greater location flexibility.
