TERMS & CONDITIONS – Global Wealth Summit (“EVENT”)

By Accessing Moneycontrol.Com and or Moneycontrol mobile applications (‘Moneycontrol Properties’) or any of its product/services or any platforms, events, contest hosted, you have read, understood and agreed to be legally bound by the Terms & Conditions, Disclaimer, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy available at the following links respectively (“General T&C’s”): -

By attending the Event, you (“you/your/Attendee”) in addition to the General T&C’s, agree to the below mentioned Specific Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

Global Wealth Summit is an on-ground conclave that unites global leaders, economists, policymakers, and investors to explore and discuss market complexities, strategic investments, and sustainable wealth creation. This Event is organised and hosted by Network18 Media & Investments Limited (‘we/us/our/ NW18’).

NW18 reserves the right to change these terms and conditions anytime at its sole discretion with/without any prior intimation. The Attendee shall be responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions.

SPECIFC TERMS AND CONDITIONS RELATED TO THE EVENT

1. Age Limit: The Event is open to all ages. Entry of children below the age of 6 years is complimentary however entry for such children shall be allowed only when he/she is accompanied by an adult Attendee. Attendee shall furnish a proof of date of birth, wherever required by NW18.

2. Registration:

Entry to the Event is free of charge and strictly by prior registration only.
To register for the Event, you must complete the Event registration process that shall be made available and accessed through https://www.moneycontrol.com/msite/global-wealth-summit
Registration does not automatically guarantee entry to the Event.
Registration shall be deemed valid only upon receipt of a written confirmation email from an official email ID belonging to an entity of NW18. Such an email would be considered a valid registration (“Registration Email”).
NW18 reserves the sole and absolute discretion to approve, reject, or cancel any registration without assigning any reason.
NW18 shall not be liable to consider registrations made through any third-party platform or source. No claims or objections shall be entertained in this regard.
Event registration is subject to availability and may close earlier than the posted deadline, as determined in our sole discretion. We may also change the Event program at any time in our sole discretion.
NW18 is not liable for any such invalid registrations and shall not have any liability for financial loss which could be potentially incurred.
You will comply with the NW18 Code of Conduct at all times.

3. The Event venue (“Venue”) may be communicated to the confirmed attendees at the time of the confirmation of the registration or separately and may be subject to change at NW18’s discretion.

4. The Registration Email entitles the Attendee to enter the Event venue on the date and time as stated on the Registration Email or such date and time as revised by NW18.

5. Registration Emails issued for the Event are personal, non-transferable, and non-assignable. No Attendee shall transfer, exchange, or permit use of their registration confirmation by any other person.

6. Each Registration Email entitles only a single Attendee to enter the Venue of the Event on specified date(s) of the Event.

7. NW18 reserve the rights of admission or denial of entry to the Event, even to valid registrations, without a recourse due to, including but not limited to altered or tampered Registration Emails, security, safe, management concerns.

8. Attendee shall not resell, transfer or distribute the Registration Email confirmed in his/her name, in anyway, whatsoever. Transfer or distribution of the Registration Email shall lead to cancellation of that Registration Email and NW18 reserves the right to blacklist such an Attendee for registration for the Event or another future event.

9. Recording, Live Streaming, and Videotaping by the Attendee is not allowed. Attendee will not record, upload, distribute, share, save or broadcast/publish/display audio or video of sessions of the Event in any form, mode, media and format. Such unauthorized actions will warrant legal action. NW18 reserves the right to take appropriate measures to protect its intellectual property.

10. Badge/Lanyard/Wrist band (“NW18 ID”):

All Attendees (including Attendees who have booked online or have an E-ticket) must collect and wear their official Event badge, lanyard, and/or wristband at all times while present at the Event venue.
This NW18 ID shall have to be procured from the registration desk present at the Venue.
Entry and continued access to the Venue shall be denied without a valid NW18 ID.
In case of loss, damage, or breakage, the Attendee must immediately report the same to the designated Event representatives and duly follow their instructions in case another NW18 ID is to be procured.
Replacement of NW18 ID shall be issued only after verification of valid registration and confirmation, at NW18’s discretion.

11. Speaker/Luminary/Dignitaries line-up and participation displayed in any advertisement or promotional medium are subject to change. The list of Speaker/Luminary/Dignitaries is tentative in nature, and they may/may not be able to participate in the Event.

12. The participation and content shared by various Speaker/Luminary/Dignitaries at the Event are purely intended for the purpose of general awareness. NW18 shall not be liable for any claims, resulting from Speaker/Luminary/Dignitaries content and participation at the Event.

13. NW18 reserves the right to amend or modify the terms of the Event without intimation to the Attendee, including without limitation the schedule of the Event.

14. Outside eatables, beverages, bottles, cans, tins, bags, laptops or hazardous substances or dangerous objects including but not limited to arms & ammunition, knives, guns, fireworks, helmets, lazer devices, bottles, musical instruments, lighters, match box, aerosol and other flammable items, are not allowed inside the Event venue. NW18 reserves the right to confiscate these items and evict the Attendee from the Event if he/she is found to be in possession of such items.

15. NW18 shall not provide storage facility for any items or belongings carried by an Attendee to the Event. Attendees are advised not to carry any items that would require a storage facility.

16. Parking of vehicles near or at the Event venue is at the sole risk of the Attendee. NW18 or the parking agency shall not be held responsible for any damage or theft of any vehicles parked in the designated parking area of the Event. Parking charges as applicable will be borne by Attendees and will not be refundable.

17. Attendees are advised to take necessary precautions if they suffer from any medical condition that may have an adverse effect on their health during the Event. If an Attendee is carrying any medication in the form of drugs or otherwise, it is his/her sole responsibility to verify whether if such medication is legally allowed at the Event venue. Basic first aid will be made available where necessary. However, NW18 are not responsible for, any injury, harm, or damage, of any kind that may occur during, at, or around the Event.

18. NW18 or any of its agents, officers, employees shall not be responsible/ liable for any injury, damage, theft, losses, harmful effects of food items or drinks consumed, or any other loss suffered by the Attendee at the Event venue during the Event. NW18 shall not be responsible for any claims, demands, causes of action, injury, losses, liabilities and expenses resulting or arising as a result of the Event or any part of it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NW18 will not be responsible for loss, damage, accident, illness or injury to any person, or their property howsoever caused.

19. No alcohol will be served to Attendees under the legal drinking age. Alcohol consumption at the Event will only be allowed only when the Attendee is provided with an alcohol permit band, on display of a valid Government issued ID proof. Consumption of alcohol will be allowed only in designated areas and shall not be carried anywhere outside the designated area. NW18 reserves the right to alter or modify the designated area at any time.

20. Carrying of liquids, alcohol, cigarettes and any banned/controlled substances, including outside food, will not be permitted at the Event. Consumption, sale and/or possession of any illegal substances is strictly prohibited, and Attendees found consuming, selling or possessing such illegal substances will be immediately handed over to the appropriate authorities. If, in the opinion of a representative of NW18 or venue personnel, the Attendee is under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol, or that it is necessary for the safety or comfort or security of other attendees or for the protection of property, NW18 reserves the right to refuse the entry or request the Attendee to leave the Event venue and may if necessary physically remove the Attendee from the Event venue or physically restrain the Attendee.

21. The participants must at all times be mindful of respectful behaviour at this event. NW18 reserves the right to monitor, control, and moderate all content shared by participants during the event. This includes the authority to remove or restrict any comments, questions, or feedback deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of the event’s code of conduct or general ethical standards. The company may take necessary actions, including removing participants from the event, if such violations occur.

22. NW18 and /or its appointed service provider reserves the right to conduct security searches including frisking, checking bags and refuse admission or evict an Attendee for any security reasons. Security procedures, including frisking and bag checking, remain the right of NW18 and/or its appointed service provider. All visitors/Attendees must cooperate with the security at the Event, in the interests of the security of all Attendees of the Event. NW18 is not responsible for any items confiscated due to security concerns. It is strongly recommended that such prohibited items are not brought to the event.

23. You grant us, our affiliates, and our independent contractors, third party service providers, the right to record, film, photograph, and capture you're voice and image in any media at the Event (the “Recordings”). You grant to NW18 and its affiliates, agents, employees, and assigns an irrevocable, nonexclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and translate, for any purpose relating to our business, all or any part of the Recordings and Your Materials. We may edit the Recordings and Your Materials, use them alone or together with other information, and allow others to use and disseminate them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you waive any moral rights you may have in the Recordings and Your Materials. For the purpose of these Terms “Your Material” shall mean all materials submitted (including, for example, your name and biographical information) or presented by you (in electronic copy or hard copy, verbally, or otherwise)You represent and warrant that (a) Your Materials are true and accurate to the best of your knowledge, (b) you have the necessary rights and permissions to grant the license in dis Section 29, and (c) Your Materials do not violate or infringe any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights of any person or entity.

24. Attendees also agree not to take pictures or videos where posted or announced as prohibited and agree that any permitted photos or videos will not be used for any commercial purposes and will not be made publicly available or generally displayed without prior written consent of NW18.

25. In all arrangements involving third parties, NW18 act only as agent and no liability of any kind whatsoever shall be attached to NW18 or its affiliates in connection with or arising from such an arrangement with a third party.

26. If you are an attendee of the Event, you provide us with certain personal data/information which we shall share with the sponsors and/or business partners for the Event related communications and also for the sponsors and/or business partners and/or NW18 for future prospecting, to contact you for future business engagement, to send marketing and/or promotional materials about their respective services and products etc. from time to time (‘Purpose’). It is clarified that you are giving your express consent to NW18 and the sponsors and/or business partners of the Event for the using your personal data/information for the abovementioned Purpose. If you do not wish for NW18 to continue using your personal data/information, and/or disclose your personal data/information for the Purpose at any time, you may opt out of providing the same by contacting NW18 at Moneycontrolgws@nw18.com.

27. We are fully committed to following laws related to the collection of data and to our carefully considered policy on data collection. You are required to give us the correct details about yourself and NW18 will not be liable for any damages direct or indirect for any wrong addresses submitted.

28. Any information and data submitted by the Attendee for registration purposes, including without limitation, personal information, shall be governed by the Terms of Use read with the Privacy Policy of NW18, as applicable.

29. Attendee hereby agrees to indemnify NW18 against any losses, damages and claims suffered or incurred by NW18 as a result of Attendee’s breach of these terms and conditions, and/or any of Attendee’s acts or omissions.

30. NW18 shall not be liable for loss of actual or anticipated profits, loss of goodwill, loss of business, loss of revenue or of the use of money, loss of contracts, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data and/or undertaking the restoration of data, any special, indirect or consequential loss, and such liability is excluded whether it is foreseeable, known, foreseen or otherwise. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein set out.

31. The Event is subject to force majeure events i.e. NW18 and its affiliates will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms where the delay or failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control causes including without limitation, acts of God, civil or military actions, acts of the public enemy, war, civil disturbances, insurrections, industrial dispute, strikes, accidents, explosions, fires, earthquakes, floods, transportation embargoes, epidemics, diseases, acts of government, cyber-attacks.

32. Registering for the Event implies the acceptance of all the Terms of the Event. NW18 reserves the right to cancel or modify the Event and amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. The decision of NW18 is final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into in this regard.

33. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Indian Law, and parties hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdictions of the courts of Mumbai for the determination of any dispute. In the event of any conflict, the Terms and Conditions specifically provided for this Event shall supersede over the General T&C’s available on the Moneycontrol website.

34. We are committed to provide a safe environment for all participants of the Event and make it free from discrimination on any ground, and from harassment, including sexual harassment. We will operate a zero-tolerance policy for any form of sexual harassment. All incidents and complaints will be taken seriously, and offenders will be immediately handed over to the appropriate authorities.

35. Venue rules apply.

36. These Terms & Conditions shall be deemed to include any code of conduct, advisory, press release/note, and other terms and condition documents for the Event as published, identified, advised, or promulgated by NW18 and the same should be read as part and parcel of these Terms & Conditions.

37. Attendees must familiarize themselves with emergency exits and procedures, which will be communicated during the Event. In the case of fire, earthquake, or any other emergency, instructions will be provided by event staff. Please follow all directions promptly. NW18 and Venue personnel reserve the right to evacuate the premises or restrict access for safety reasons.

38. Attendees must take care their personal belongings. NW18 shall not be responsible for any loss or damage at, during, or around, the Event or at the Venue.

39. We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue to pick up the NW18 ID after showing the Registration Email.

40. Disclaimer:

a. The views, opinions, suggestions, comments and the entire content expressed by the individual speakers, attendees, luminary, dignitary or sponsors at the Event ("Speaker(s)") in course of their participation in the Event are solely their own and neither do they represent those of NW18 nor are they endorsed in any manner by NW18, its employees, associates, representatives, agents and affiliates/subsidiaries/parent company.
b. Speaker(s) at all times remain fully and solely liable and responsible for their actions, expressions and/or views/opinions/comments. NW18 will not be responsible for their actions, expressions and/or views/opinions/comments, and any claims, damages, outrage arising due to the comments, views or opinions by the Speaker(s).
All expressions/comments/views/opinions made by the Speaker are for information purposes only.
c. NW18 makes no representations as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, suitability, or validity of any information presented by Speakers, attendees or sponsors at the Event and will not be liable for any errors, omissions or delays in this information or any losses, injuries or damages arising from its display or use.
d. Additionally, NW18 shall not be held liable or responsible for any violation of intellectual property rights that may arise out of any Speaker(s) participations, performance, comments, views or opinions and/or the Event. NW18 or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents, shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent on the part of NW18 or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents.
