The newly appointed brand ambassador of Dior, Sonam Kapoor, turned heads at Paris Fashion Week in a sheer black dress and a dramatic faux fur coat.
Styled by sister Rhea Kapoor and Abhilasha Devnani, Sonam donned a monochrome, fluid sheer dress from Dior’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, paired with a commanding faux fur coat from the couture house’s Resort 2025 collection. What truly elevated the look were her accessories, including black evening gloves and a black bag.
Contemporary pearl and silver earrings balanced the bold aesthetic with delicate accents. Her hair, pulled back into a bun and adorned with charming hair accessories, along with pink-toned makeup, added an elegant touch to the powerful, dramatic look.
Prior to this, Sonam wore a similar all-black ensemble to celebrate ace designer Sabyasachi’s 25 years in the fashion industry. For the event, she paired a black top with a sequined skirt and layered it with an extravagant feathered coat by Dior. With an elaborate Indian choker, she blended modern and traditional aesthetics. Even her sleek, straight tresses and pink-toned makeup were on point.
Talking about Paris Fashion Week, several international celebrities were spotted celebrating luxury brands. Kendall Jenner, for instance, walked the runway in a Schiaparelli creation, described on the website as a “strapless corset dress in nude mesh with exaggerated hips, embellished with draped pearl grey duchesse satin and embroidered with flowers and the Maison’s emblematic codes in traditional satin stitch on the chest and bottom of the dress.” The ensemble was further elevated with a large bow at the back.
Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner attended Chanel’s show in a classic tweed crop top and skirt with chain detailing. She accessorised with a black crossbody vanity handbag, sunglasses, and matching shoes to complete her look.
Singer and songwriter Dua Lipa also made a statement at Chanel’s show, donning a black dress cinched with a pearl belt. Her all-black look stood out, thanks to an extravagant floaty cape and unique accessories, including a half up hairstyle with two bows and a pouch-style bag. Dua exuded charm and enthusiasm, making a striking impression at the event.
