Sara Tendulkar couldn’t have been happier as she shared glimpses of her time in Tokyo, Japan. While her love for matcha is known to all, she shared a host of other things she grew obsessed with. From vintage stores to the lit streets at night, her photo album is worth visiting!
Sara Tendulkar’s Japan Diaries
Sara started the post with pictures of delicious snacks, including everyone’s favourite chocolate, KitKat. This was followed by a snap of matcha ice cream, which was available in different flavours. She was also all praise for the “vintage stores and the stories they had to tell.”
The wellness influencer didn’t forget to notice the beauty of the Tokyo skyline, and one of her snaps offered a glimpse of it along with an overview of the city. While she may be a fitness enthusiast, Sara indulged in Japanese delicacies to her heart’s delight and shared a picture of the sushi and sashimi she enjoyed every day.

Sara’s time was also spent strolling on the streets, capturing pictures of the ‘cutest’ fur babies. She visited a number of shrines both during the day and at night, and pictures of the same are simply beautiful. A video of Mario Karting was also shown, which looked like a fun way to explore the city. Finally, there was a picture of Tokyo lit up at night, which looked breathtaking.
Sara’s Love for Matcha and Everything Healthy
Sara loves a good matcha, and her day is incomplete without it. While she has shared her recipe for a protein matcha smoothie on Instagram, she also has a beverage bar at her newly opened Pilates studio.
She tries to stay healthy and eat mindfully when she is not travelling. In a chat with Curly Tales, she said, “I am not following any diet. I try to be as low-carb as possible, and I try to avoid sugar.” She believes that while it’s important to eat right and work out, the former is more important for weight loss and staying healthy.
