South star Hansika Motwani is a fashionista in her own right. She loves her sarees as much as her Western outfits, giving them a modern twist with fresh, contemporary styling.
The actress wowed fans in a dazzling frosted blue tulle saree by Rimple and Harpreet Narula, priced at Rs. 435,000. Handcrafted with sequins and pailettes, the gorgeous piece she wore featured silver-gold geometric patterns and was beautified with Chantilly lace.
Hansika paired the saree with a sequin and crystal blouse adorned with vintage beadwork on the bodice, layered with a bejewelled neckline inspired by Edwardian jewellery. She ditched the necklace and instead wore matching aqua-toned danglers and a few rings.
Her voluminous curled hair further enhanced her beauty, along with her gorgeous streaks. Her makeup was done in warm rust tones, with the winged eyeliner stealing the spotlight.
The actress’ look won praise across the Internet. One user called her ‘gorgeous’, while many others dropped blue heart and fire emojis, suggesting she looked both stunning and smoking hot.
Sequin sarees have been a big favourite with stars, with the most glamorous ones designed by none other than Manish Malhotra. Sophie Choudry donned his ombré saree in metallic aqua hues with a halter neck blouse, calling it ‘a little tradition, a lot of temptation’.
