UK Princess Kate Middleton recently celebrated Holi with Leicester's Hindu community and she looked stunning. Dressed in a ivory monochromatic ensemble, Kate effortlessly served fashion goals. She wore a cream coat by Chris Kerr, an ivory Ralph Lauren wool blend maxi dress, a pair of Sézane “Dina” earrings and an Emmy London "Natasha" clutch.
Her earrings are gold-plated and made from recycled brass drops featuring blue stones and beadwork. On the brand's website, the earrings were originally priced at $130 (around Rs 11,913) and were available on sale for just $50 (over Rs 4,582).
Known for repeating her outfits on multiple occasions, Kate had once worn the same coat at Christmas Carol service in 2023. Typically, on Holi, people prefer to wear white clothes to play with colours with abandon. Embracing the spirit, Kate too picked a shade similar to white. The people from Indian community at Aakash Odedra Company welcomed Kate with a rose garland.
They greeted and entertained Kate by dancing on popular Bollywood numbers. On this, Kate said, "You must be super fit because it’s super energetic. My children would love that—they love their dancing. [Prince] Louis would love your dance routine."
Kate also visited a Hindu temple called Shreeji Dham Haveli along with worshippers. Respecting Hindu culture, she removed her shoes to visit the temple. Daily Mail reported it was Kate's first official visit to a Hindu temple in Britain. Smiling her radiant smile, Kate also explored the area and tried chai at Bobby’s, a family-run restaurant named after the blockbuster film Bobby.
