Bollywood’s leading ladies have been experimenting with colours, styles, and embroidery, particularly in Indian ensembles. Red has become a dominant choice this year. While the rich hue hardly needs extra embellishment, these celeb actresses have opted for extravagant designs featuring intricate embroidery and opulent details. From Ananya Panday to Kareena Kapoor Khan, here’s a look at some of the most striking red outfits.

Nushrratt Bharuccha:

Nushrratt surprised fans in a Monisha Jaising lehenga that gave traditional silk a contemporary twist with a thigh-high slit. She paired it with a dazzling blouse, its intricate gold embroidery enhancing her stunning look. The shimmering set was accessorised with a multi-coloured necklace, adding a playful touch.

Ananya Panday:

Draped in a Tarun Tahiliani saree, Ananya served classic glamour in an embroidered piece featuring floral motifs and a geometric border. She paired it with a deep V-neck blouse adorned with Jaamevar-inspired work. The saree itself was a work of art, perfectly draped around her slender frame. Keeping it simple, she accessorised with a single sparkling choker and kept her makeup minimal.

Kareena Kapoor Khan:

Kareena never fails to make a statement in red, and her Ritu Kumar saree, adorned with gold embroidery and delicate lace accents, is proof. The soft silk chinon fabric draped to perfection, paired with a matching blouse, exuded sheer joy. The striking emerald necklace added just the right contrast, enhancing the beauty of the ensemble.

Namrata Shirodkar:

Namrata looked radiant in a red lehenga set by Torani, where the vibrant hue was further decorated with intricate gold embroidery in striking floral and motif patterns. With a flowing dupatta elegantly draped over her panelled blouse and skirt, she looked graceful.

Tamannaah Bhatia:

Tamannaah channelled maximalist opulence in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation. She sparkled in a rich red kurti featuring pearl tassels at the hem, paired with a crushed gharara and two bandhani dupattas. The intricate embroidery—featuring gota, sequins, and zardozi—added grandeur to the ensemble.
