With most modern Indian ensembles, necklaces and bracelets aren’t as much a need as a pair of statement earrings. They have the ability to elevate any outfit, especially the ones that aren’t heavily embellished, and make it sparkle. If you skip them, it’s easily noticeable that something is amiss.

This wedding season, go bold and glamorous with celeb-approved heavy earring designs to stand out. From Deepika Padukone to Rashmika Mandanna, these dazzling styles will leave you inspired…

Rashmika Mandanna

For the promotions of Thamma, Rashmika donned an ivory sharara paired with a green kadwa zari gharchola dupatta with hand embroidery and tassel detailing. Her look was elevated with a pair of gold-plated silver alloy earrings with stone polki and faux pearls, sourced from Anu Merton. The style of the earrings is distinct and bound to turn heads.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone pleasantly surprised fans by sharing family pictures featuring baby Dua on Diwali. While all of them were impeccably dressed, what caught attention was Deepika’s heavy earring design. The embellished, multi-tiered accessory by Sabyasachi featured stunning uncut polki and emerald accents, which looked every bit regal with the actress’s luxurious red ensemble. It displayed the fine craftsmanship that the designer takes pride in.

Janhvi Kapoor

For one of her outings, Janhvi Kapoor’s statement choker-style necklace was coordinated perfectly with chandelier earrings. The breathtaking piece by Birdhichand featured uncut diamonds (polki) and emerald beads with several tiers that create a surreal effect. The earrings looked nothing short of stunning and complemented her custom couture ensemble by Anamika Khanna.

Bhumi Pednekar

While Bhumi’s dress in itself was a work of art, her earrings added to the magic. The heavy jhumkas by Anu Merton are made with silver alloy, stone polki, faux pearls, and meenakari. Their unique design, with its multiple tiers and intricate craftsmanship, offers just the right inspiration for styling.

Ananya Panday

Ananya Panday paired her warm olive and beige-gold saree, featuring intricate mirror and cutdana detailing, with heavy gold-toned earrings. They combined different design elements, including a floral motif at the top, a half-moon design, and dangling beads at the bottom. The glittering earrings looked quite glamorous and lent her an elongated appearance.
