The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit card for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Main Examination 2025. Candidates who have registered for the exam can now download their UPSC IFS Mains hall ticket 2025 from the official website at upsc.gov.in.

As per the official schedule, the UPSC IFS Mains 2025 will be conducted from 16 November to 23 November 2025 across various centres in India. The examination will be held in two shifts each day, the forenoon session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card along with a valid photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or driving licence. Entry to the examination centre will not be allowed without the admit card and valid ID proof.

1. Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
2. Click on the link titled “E-Admit Card for Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2025” on the homepage.
3. Select the option to download using either Registration ID or Roll Number.
4. Enter your Date of Birth and the verification code shown on the screen.
5. Click on Submit to view the admit card.
6. Download and take a printout of the hall ticket for future use.

UPSC IFS Mains 2025: Exam Pattern

The written examination will consist of six papers:

• Paper 1: General English – 300 marks
• Paper 2: General Knowledge – 300 marks
• Papers 3, 4, 5, and 6: Two optional subjects (each paper carrying 200 marks)

Each paper will have a duration of three hours.

Candidates are advised to reach their examination centre well before the reporting time. Use of electronic gadgets, calculators, or communication devices is not allowed inside the examination hall.
