The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2025. Aspirants who participated in the recruitment process can now access their outcomes on the commission's primary website, upsc.gov.in.
The written tests for IES and ISS were conducted from June 20 to June 22, 2025, followed by the personality test or interview round in September 2025.
A significant highlight of this year's result declaration is the provisional status of 12 candidates. As per the official notification, the Commission has withheld the final appointment offers for these individuals pending verification of original documents.
"The offer of appointment to the candidates whose result has been kept provisional will not be issued till the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates and clarifies the provisional status," the UPSC statement clarified.
This provisional status is time-bound and will remain valid for a period of three months from the date of the final result declaration. Candidates in this category are advised to promptly submit the required documents to the Commission for review to secure their candidature.
