UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025 Registration Deadline Extended till August 22; direct link to apply here

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the registration deadline for the UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025. Candidates can now submit their online applications till 22 August 2025 (11:59 pm).

This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 230 vacancies in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), which comes under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Aspirants who have not yet applied are advised to complete their registration before the extended deadline to avoid any last minute issues.

UPSC EPFO Vacancies 2025

The vacancies have been announced for two categories of posts:

• Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (EO/AO): 156 vacancies
• Assistant Public Provident Commissioner (APFC): 74 vacancies
• Total: 230 vacancies

According to the official notification, candidates can apply online till 22 August 2025 (11:59 pm). In addition, UPSC will provide a one-time correction facility from 23 to 25 August 2025, during which applicants can make changes or correct any errors in their forms.

How to Apply for UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025

Eligible candidates must apply online through the UPSC official website. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. Aspirants can use the direct link available on the portal to complete the registration and submit their forms.

Application Fee

The application fee has been fixed as follows:

• General/OBC/EWS candidates: Rs 25
• Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Exempted from fee payment

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025

Educational Qualification:

• EO/AO: Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised university or institute.
• APFC: Degree from a recognised university or equivalent. A diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration is considered desirable.

• EO/AO: Maximum age 30 years
• APFC: Maximum age 35 years

The selection will be carried out in two stages, a Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) followed by an Interview.

Exam Pattern:

• The CRT will be conducted in pen and paper mode.
• Duration of the exam: 2 hours.
• The test will consist of objective type multiple choice questions.
• All questions will carry equal marks.
• Medium: English and Hindi.
• There will be negative marking, with one third of the marks deducted for every wrong answer.
