The Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) is a qualifying examination for those aspiring to teach in primary and upper primary schools across Tamil Nadu. Paper I is for teaching at the primary level (Classes 1 to 5) while Paper II is for the upper primary level (Classes 6 to 8).

The postponement provides candidates with extra preparation time, while also giving the board more room to manage exam centres, invigilators, and related arrangements.

Candidates should also keep track of further notifications from TN TRB, including the release of admit cards and exam instructions.
