SSC CHSL Exam Date 2025 Out, Check Full Schedule Here

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the SSC CHSL Exam Date 2025. Candidates who have been waiting for the Tier 1 examination can now check the complete schedule, including details on the computer-based test (CBT), city intimation slip, and admit card release.

According to the official notice published on the SSC website, the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2025 will take place on 12 November 2025. The exam will be held in multiple shifts across various centres across India. These dates have been confirmed by the Commission, and there will be no further changes or cancellations.

For the first time, SSC has introduced a self slot selection facility for CHSL candidates. Applicants can now choose their preferred exam city, date, and shift through the candidate portal. This option will be available from 22 to 28 October 2025.

Candidates can log in using their registration details and select from the three cities chosen during registration. In case all slots in those cities are filled, SSC will provide alternate cities with available slots. Once the selection is made, it cannot be changed. Candidates who do not select a slot within the given dates will be treated as not appearing for the exam.

If a candidate fails to select a slot between 22 and 28 October 2025, it will be considered that they do not wish to appear for the examination. Hence, candidates are advised to make their selection within the given timeframe.

The city intimation slip will be released a few days before the examination. This slip will help candidates know their exact exam city and date before the release of the admit card. It is the first official document through which candidates can check their allotted exam details.

The SSC CHSL Admit Card 2025 will be issued four days before the exam date. Candidates can download it from their respective regional SSC websites by logging in with their registration ID and password. The admit card will contain details such as the exam date, time, and centre address.

The SSC CHSL selection process will be conducted in two stages:

• Tier 1: Computer-Based Test (Objective)
• Tier 2: Descriptive Paper and Skill/Typing Test

After both stages, the final selection will be followed by document verification.
