The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025. A total of 14,582 vacancies have been announced for various Group B and Group C posts across different government departments and ministries. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online at www.ssc.gov.in. The application window will remain open until 4 July 2025.
This year’s recruitment includes posts such as Assistant Section Officer, Inspector, Sub Inspector, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Section Head, Executive Officer, Junior Statistical Officer, Auditor, Accountant, Postal Assistant, Senior Secretariat Assistant, Tax Assistant, and other roles. Only candidates who have completed their graduation are eligible to apply for these posts.

Selection Process
The selection process involves a two-tier computer-based examination. Tier 1 will consist of objective-type multiple choice questions, with questions set in both English and Hindi (except the English Comprehension section). There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect response. Candidates shortlisted from Tier 1 will be eligible to appear for Tier 2.
The application fee is Rs 100 for general category candidates. However, women applicants and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen categories are exempted from paying the fee. The payment can be made online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or using debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay.
