The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2025, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSE), commenced today, February 27, 2025. The exam is being held in multiple shifts over two days, with Level 1 and Level 2 papers scheduled for February 27 and 28, 2025. According to initial feedback from candidates, the Shift 1 Level 1 paper was rated as easy to moderate in terms of difficulty.

Exam Schedule and Structure

The REET 2025 exam is being conducted in three shifts:

Shift 1 (Level 1): February 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Shift 2 (Level 2): February 27, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM

Shift 1 (Level 1): February 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

The exam duration for each shift is two hours and thirty minutes. This year, the RBSE has introduced negative marking, adding an extra layer of challenge for candidates.

REET 2025 Shift 1: Level 1 Exam Analysis

The first shift of the REET Level 1 exam concluded smoothly, with candidates sharing their initial reactions on the difficulty level of the question paper. Based on their feedback, here’s a subject-wise breakdown of the REET 2025 Level 1 exam:

Candidates found the Language I section to be particularly straightforward, while Mathematics and Child Development & Pedagogy were perceived as moderately challenging. Environmental Studies and Language II were rated as easy to moderate, making the overall paper balanced and manageable for most aspirants.

As candidates exited the exam centres, many expressed relief at the balanced difficulty level of the paper. "The Language sections were quite easy, and Environmental Studies was manageable. However, Mathematics required careful calculation due to the negative marking," shared one candidate. Another aspirant noted, "The paper was well-structured, and the time given was sufficient to attempt all questions."

With Shift 1 of Level 1 completed, candidates are now preparing for the upcoming shifts. The RBSE is expected to release the official answer key and results in the coming weeks. Aspirants are advised to stay updated through the official RBSE website for further announcements.
