The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the admit card for the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2024. Candidates can now download their OPSC OCS Prelims Admit Card 2025 from the official website, opsc.gov.in.

The preliminary exam is scheduled to be conducted on October 12, 2025, across six major zones in the state: Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jeypore, and Sambalpur.

Steps to download OPSC OCS Hall Ticket 2025

Aspiring civil servants can follow these simple steps to download their preliminary examination call letter:

Step 1. Go to the OPSC portal at opsc.gov.in.

Step 2. On the homepage, find and click on the active link that reads "OPSC OCS Prelims Admit Card 2025."

Step 3. You will be redirected to a new login page. Enter your required registration details, such as your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.

Step 4. Click on the 'Submit' button. Your Odisha OCS Prelims Hall Ticket 2025 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5. Carefully check all the details on the admit card. Download the PDF file and take multiple printouts for future reference and exam day requirements.

Candidates must take note of the following crucial details for a smooth exam experience:

  • Exam Date: October 12, 2025 (Sunday)
Exam Shifts:

First Shift: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

Second Shift: 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM

PwD Category Concession: All candidates belonging to the Persons with Disability (PwD) category will be granted an additional 40 minutes per shift. Their timings will be:

First Shift: 10:00 AM to 12:40 PM

Second Shift: 1:30 PM to 4:10 PM

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

The Odisha Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam will consist of two compulsory papers of the objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).

  • Number of Papers: Two (Paper-I and Paper-II)
  • Maximum Marks: Each paper will carry 200 marks.

Negative Marking: The commission has confirmed a negative marking scheme. For every incorrect answer, one-third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty. The notification clarifies that for certain questions, negative marking may be inbuilt, with different marks awarded for the most appropriate and not-so-appropriate answers.

All candidates are advised to download their admit cards at the earliest and thoroughly verify all personal and exam-related details. In case of any discrepancy, they should immediately contact the examining authorities.
