The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has announced the recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officers (AAO) and Assistant Engineers (AE) for the year 2025. A total of 841 vacancies have been released across the organisation. The registration process began on 16 August 2025 and will continue until 8 September 2025. Interested candidates can apply through the official website, licindia.in.
As per the notification, LIC has opened up opportunities in both engineering and administrative categories. Out of the total posts, 81 vacancies are for Assistant Engineers, 410 are for AAO (Specialist), and 350 for AAO (Generalist).
Eligibility criteria

Selection process
The recruitment will be carried out in multiple stages. For AAO posts, the selection process will include a Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Interview, and a pre recruitment medical test. It is important to note that marks obtained in the preliminary examination will not be considered for the final merit list. Only the Main Examination and Interview scores will be taken into account for shortlisting and final selection.

Upload scanned copies of a passport-sized photograph and signature in the specified format.
Pay the application fee through net banking, debit/credit card, or other digital modes.
Recheck the application details, submit the form, and take a printout of the confirmation page and payment receipt for reference.

Candidates from SC, ST, and PwBD categories are required to pay Rs 85 plus transaction charges and GST. Applicants from all other categories need to pay Rs 700 plus transaction charges and GST.
