Indian Army Agniveer Result 2025

The results for the Indian Army Agniveer Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2025-26 recruitment drive have been officially declared for the Varanasi region, with a second merit list announced for certain rejected candidates from Muzaffarpur. The results, initially released in late July 2025 for the nationwide written exam, determine which candidates progress to the crucial physical and medical evaluation stages.

Out of approximately 4,903 candidates from 12 districts in the Varanasi region who participated in the recruitment rally, about 2,900 have been declared successful and can now proceed with their documentation for the next phases of selection.

The result declaration includes two significant developments for different candidate groups:

For Varanasi Region Candidates:

Successful candidates from the Varanasi rally have been instructed to report to the Army Recruitment Office with all original documents on any working day before 2:00 PM to be included in the further training process. Colonel Shailesh Kumar, Director of the Army Recruitment Office, emphasized the importance of this step.

Second Merit List for Muzaffarpur:

In response to candidate complaints about potential marking discrepancies in the written examination, the Army has decided to release a second merit list for rejected candidates from eight districts under the Muzaffarpur Recruitment Board. These districts include Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, East Champaran, and West Champaran.

Candidates who wish to be considered for this second list must register their complaints with their respective recruitment board by December 15, 2025. The second merit list is scheduled for release on January 5, 2026, following which the physical efficiency and medical examination process will be completed for those whose complaints are validated.

The Indian Army Agniveer recruitment follows a structured multi-stage process:

Phase I: Written Examination – The Common Entrance Exam (CEE) was conducted nationwide from June 30 to July 10, 2025, in 13 regional languages to ensure wider accessibility.

Phase II: Physical & Medical Evaluation – Shortlisted candidates proceed to the Recruitment Rally, which includes the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Medical Examination.

What Comes Next for Qualified Candidates?

Candidates who find their roll numbers on the merit list must prepare for the subsequent stages:

  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Includes a 1.6 km run (to be completed within 5 minutes 45 seconds for males), pull-ups, and other agility tests.
  • Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Verification of height, chest, and weight against prescribed standards.
  • Medical Examination: A comprehensive health check by the Army Medical Team.
  • Document Verification: Original documents for educational qualifications, age, identity, and category certificates must be presented.
