The India Post has released the third merit list for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) engagement, 2024. Candidates who applied for the India Post GDS recruitment 2024 can now check the third merit list on the official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. This merit list includes multiple states, but the list for Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and 48 other divisions has been withheld due to the Model Code of Conduct enforced by the Election Commission of India (ECI). These lists will be released after the restrictions are lifted.

How to Check the India Post GDS 3rd Merit List 2024

1. Visit the official website of India Post GDS engagement: indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
2. Scroll to the candidates' corner and find the "Shortlisted Candidates" tab.
3. Click the "+" button and select your respective circle.
4. Open the list of shortlisted candidates and check your registration number to know your selection status.

Previous Merit Lists
The first merit list for the Gramin Dak Sevak vacancies was released in August, followed by the second list in September, excluding Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir, which were delayed due to the election code of conduct. These lists were later released for the pending states.

The India Post is recruiting a total of 44,228 Gramin Dak Sevaks for post offices across the country through this drive. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for further updates and instructions.

What’s Next for Selected Candidates?
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the third merit list must get their documents verified by the Divisional Head mentioned next to their registration number. The document verification process must be completed by November 4, 2024. India Post has instructed candidates to report for verification with their original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents. Failure to complete this step by the given date may result in disqualification.
