IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025: Registration to begin from August 1, here’s how to apply

IBPS Clerk 2025 registration starts from 1 August. Prelims will be held in October and Mains in November. Here’s how to apply and prepare for the exam.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially announced the Clerk Recruitment 2025 (CRP CSA XV) through a short notice published in the Employment News. The recruitment is being held for the post of Customer Service Associate (CSA) in public sector banks across India for the 2026–27 cycle.

Online Registration Dates

As per the notice, the online application process will begin on 1 August 2025 and continue till 21 August 2025. Candidates who are interested in applying must complete the application process within this period.

Exam Dates

The Preliminary Examination will be conducted on 4, 5, and 11 October 2025. Candidates who qualify this stage will move on to the Main Examination, which is scheduled to be held on 29 November 2025.

How to Apply for IBPS Clerk 2025

Candidates can apply online by visiting the official IBPS website at www.ibps.in once the full notification is released. Here are the basic steps to follow:

  1. Visit the official IBPS website.
  2. Click on the ‘IBPS Clerk CRP XV’ application link.
  3. Register using your email ID and mobile number.
  4. Fill out the application form with accurate details.
  5. Upload required documents – passport-size photo, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and handwritten declaration.
  6. Pay the application fee online using a debit card, credit card or net banking.
  7. Submit the form and keep a printout for reference.

Documents Required for Application

Before starting the application, candidates should ensure they have the following:

  • Valid email ID and mobile number.
  • Scanned copy of passport-size photograph and signature.
  • Scanned left-hand thumb impression and handwritten declaration (as per format).
  • Educational qualification documents.
  • Valid ID proof.
  • Debit/credit card or net banking details for online payment.
  • Updated browser to avoid technical issues during submission.

IBPS Clerk 2025 Selection Process

The selection process will be held in two stages:

  • Preliminary Examination: This is the first round and acts as a qualifying stage. Only those who clear it will be eligible for the mains.
  • Main Examination: This is the final stage. Candidates who perform well in this round will be shortlisted for final selection and provisional allotment.

Over 20 lakh candidates participate in the IBPS Clerk recruitment process every year. Nearly 20 times the number of vacancies are shortlisted for the main exam. Final selection is based on the performance in the mains and candidates are allotted to public sector banks as per their state-wise preferences and scores.

With the registration window opening from 1 August, candidates are advised to read the full notification carefully, check the eligibility criteria, and start preparing as per the latest syllabus and exam pattern.
