The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, is closing the application window for the technical recruitment drive today, November 16, 2024. Selected candidates will be appointed at Level 7 in the Pay Matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission, which corresponds to a salary range of ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400, plus other admissible allowances.

GATE Score Shortlisting: Candidates will be initially shortlisted based on their performance in the GATE 2023/2024/2025 examinations. A list of candidates, approximately ten times the number of vacancies, will be called for the next stage.

Skill Test & Interview: Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a subsequent evaluation round, which includes a skill test followed by a personal interview.
