IAF Agniveer Vayu Recruitment: Application begins at agnipathvayu.cdac.in; link to apply here

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has started the application process for Agniveer Vayu posts under the Agnipath scheme. Interested candidates can apply online from 11 July 2025 to 31 July 2025 through the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates applying must meet the following eligibility conditions:

For Science Stream Candidates: Must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Mathematics, Physics and English from a recognised board with at least 50% marks overall and 50% marks in English. OR, should have completed a three-year Engineering Diploma (in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with 50% marks and English as a subject.

For Non-Science Stream Candidates: Must have passed Class 12 in any stream with at least 50% marks and 50% in English. OR, completed a two-year vocational course with at least 50% marks overall and in English.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 17.5 to 21 years old. Only those born between 2 July 2005 and 2 January 2009 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.

The selection will take place in multiple stages:

• Physical Fitness Test
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination
• Physical Test
