BPSC 71st CCE Notification 2025 Released for 1250 Posts, Registration Begins June 2

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the notification for the 71st Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025. Through this recruitment process, BPSC aims to fill 1250 posts in various departments. The official notification is available on the BPSC website at bpsc.bihar.gov.in. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can register online from 2 June 2025. The last date to apply is 30 June 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the BPSC 71st CCE 2025, candidates must have completed graduation or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university. The minimum age to apply is between 21 and 22 years, depending on the specific service. The upper age limit is different for each category. For Unreserved (Male) candidates, the maximum age is 37 years. For Unreserved (Female), Backward Classes (BC), and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) both male and female the age limit is 40 years. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), male and female, the upper age limit is 42 years.

Application Fees

Applicants are required to pay a biometric fee of Rs 200 for each examination they apply for, such as the 71st CCE or the FAO exam. In addition to this, the examination fee varies based on the category. General and other category candidates need to pay Rs 600. SC and ST candidates from Bihar, all female candidates who are permanent residents of Bihar, and Divyang (disabled) candidates with 40% or more disability are required to pay Rs 150. If a candidate is applying for more than one examination, the biometric fee must be paid separately for each.

  1. Go to the BPSC website – bpsc.bihar.gov.in
  2. Click on the BPSC 71st CCE 2025 registration link on the homepage
  3. Register by entering the required details
  4. After registration, log in with your credentials
  5. Fill in the application form and upload necessary documents
  6. Pay the application fee based on your category
  7. Submit the form and download the confirmation page
  8. Take a printout of the confirmation page for future use
