Bihar STET 2025 Registration Begins: Apply online by September 27; direct link here

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially opened the registration window for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. Interested candidates can now apply online at https://bsebstet.org. The last date to submit the application form is September 9, 2025.

Originally, the application process was scheduled from September 11, 2025 to September 19, 2025, but it was postponed due to technical issues. The board has also updated the application portal. Candidates who previously used secondary.biharboardonline.com or biharboardonline.com must now apply through bsebstet.org.

Eligibility and Certification

Candidates who qualify the STET 2025 will receive a lifetime eligibility certificate. This certificate allows direct participation in the upcoming BPSC teacher recruitment process.

Exam Schedule (Subject to Change)

The STET 2025 exam was earlier planned between October 4, and October 25, 2025 with results expected on November 1, 2025. However, these dates may be revised due to the delay in registration.

Paper Pattern and Exam Format

The exam (Paper 1 and Paper 2) will be conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode and will last for 2.5 hours. It will consist of:

• 100 questions from the chosen subject
• 50 questions from teaching and other skills
• Total: 150 multiple-choice questions
• Each question carries 1 mark
• No negative marking

Candidates can follow these steps to complete the registration:

1. Visit the official website https://bsebstet.org
2. New users must create login credentials (user ID and password)
3. Enter personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information
4. Include a passport-size photo, signature, and relevant certificates (e.g. caste or PwD certificate)
5. Use Net Banking, UPI, or Debit/Credit Card. Save the payment receipt
6. After submission, download and print the application form for future reference
