The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has started the registration process for Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2025. The recruitment drive aims to fill 1,715 Constable posts in the Armed Branch (AB) and Unarmed Branch (UB) of the Assam Police Department. • Constable (Unarmed Branch – UB): 1,052 posts

Assam Police Constable Recruitment Eligibility criteria

Candidates must meet the prescribed educational qualification and age limit to apply.

Educational qualification

• Unarmed Branch (UB): Higher Secondary (Class 12) pass from a recognised board
• Armed Branch (AB): High School Leaving Certificate (Class 10) pass

Age limit

• Minimum age: 18 years (as on 1 January 2026)
• Maximum age: 25 years

Only candidates who meet both the educational and age requirements will be considered eligible for registration.
