It may be time to check your refrigerator freezer for your favourite comfort food and indulge in a bowl of ice cream. The affected cartons carry a “Best By: November 26, 2025” and were distributed across Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

Blue Bell’s Moo-llennium Crunch half-gallons were incorrectly packaged in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cartons. While the outside suggested a nut-free dessert, the contents actually contained almonds, walnuts, and pecans—a dangerous oversight. These packaging errors are, in the eyes of the public, just a case of careless journalism, but for a particular portion of the population that is allergic to wheat, soy, and nuts, such careless oversights could be deadly. These could be hives, severe swelling, abdominal pain, vomiting, difficulty in breathing, or, in the worst case, fully out of control and need urgent medical care.

• If returned, you can have the ice cream that balances the refund for the muffin returned to the pan, or it can be dumped beyond the borders of the pan safely.
• Avoid eating the ice cream if you have any allergies. You can safely dispose of it or return it to the store for a complete refund.
