According to Saurabh Bothra, Co-Founder,  Habuild, yoga can help you reset. “When you pause, breathe deeply, and stretch gently, your mind slows down. Also, yoga makes you feel more in control, more aware, and better able to respond to life,” he says.

Modern day lifestyle is noisy, rushed, and overstimulated. “This constant stimulation drains you both mentally and emotionally,” says Bothra. “Yoga reconnects you with stillness. Regular yoga lowers stress hormones, reduces anxiety, and improves sleep. And it does more than that, it also helps you build consistency and discipline, gently,”

A few mindful stretches, basic breathing, or a five-minute meditation in the morning can reset your day. Over time, these micro-movements build into lifelong habits, supporting better focus, improved emotional health, and a calmer outlook. Yoga becomes a daily rhythm, not a chore.

Bothra explains how yoga helps you build habits that stick

It starts your day with intention: A short practice in the morning creates mental clarity and helps you set the tone for a calmer day.

It reconnects you with your breath: Breathwork brings awareness back to the body and activates the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress.

It improves focus and reduces digital fatigue: Simple postures and mindful movement clear brain fog and help offset screen-related exhaustion.

It makes space for stillness: “In a world that’s always rushing, yoga gives us permission to slow down,” says Bothra. This pause is where healing begins.

It builds consistency through simplicity: Practicing yoga for just 10 minutes daily helps build discipline, a skill that ripples into other healthy life habits.

It supports better sleep and emotional regulation: Gentle evening stretches and breathwork can calm a restless mind, helping you sleep better and manage emotions more effectively.
