Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's Tiger vs Pathaan not shelved or delayed: Source

According to the report, the objective is to abandon formulaic patterns by implementing novel storytelling techniques and a fresh narrative approach.

Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were set to collaborate for a YRF project, Tiger VS Pathaan. Though there was a report earlier today that the spyverse movie has been shelved but  an industry source told Moneycontrol that the movie is right on track.

An industry source told us, "the movie is very much on track and has not been shelved or delayed."

Earlier this year in an interview with News18 Showsha, Salman Khan had said that his eagerly awaited spy universe movie starring Shah Rukh Khan is "not happening for now."

And reports also suggest that Aditya Chopra has plans to redesign the YRF spy universe.

According to a previous News18 report, Yash Raj Films is now concentrating on Dhoom 4. According to reports, Aditya Chopra is currently collaborating with writer Shridhar Raghavan to develop a story and screenplay that will meet the high standards of the eagerly awaited reboot.

Dhoom 4 will star Ranbir Kapoor as the lead. A source informed the publication, “Ranbir is the apt choice for Dhoom 4, and the character is also designed keeping his aura and personality in mind. The new Dhoom film is being designed keeping the global action standards in mind, and the visual palette, as also storytelling, will be very different from the already established YRF Spy Universe."

YRF is gearing up for two more films apart from Dhoom 4- Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's Alpha and Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's much-anticipated film War 2, also starring Kiara Advani. Both are part of the YRF Spy Universe and are set to release in 2025.
