Year Ender 2025: Biggest Flops in Telugu this year

In 2025, a number of amazing Telugu movies did well at the box office. However, there were also a lot of movies that people were really excited about but weren't as good as they imagined they would be. Tollywood has seen its share of box office failures, from large-budget movies with huge actors to smaller pictures that couldn't find an audience.

Game Changer

A lot of people talked about Ram Charan's Game Changer in early 2025. It was given as a Sankranthi gift with high aspirations. It cost roughly 400 crore rupees to make and featured many famous people. It got negative reviews and didn't do well at the box office, generating only Rs 131 crore worldwide, which was far less than expected and a big loss for the producers.

Hara Hari Veera Mallu

Pawan Kalyan's huge historical action-adventure movie was supposed to be one of the biggest hits in Tollywood this year. But after a lot of delays and a long time in creation, the movie didn't connect with viewers. It didn't fare well at the box office because critics didn't like it, largely because the story didn't make sense and the special effects weren't good. The movie cost more to make than it made.

Robinhood

People were also eager about Nithiin's Robinhood, but the movie didn't do well at the box office. The movie only grossed roughly Rs 14 crore, which wasn't enough to make the main actor and the folks who made it happy.

Jack

Siddhu Jonnalagadda worked with filmmaker Bommarillu Bhaskar on Jack after Tillu Square was a hit. The movie didn't do well at the box office; it only made roughly Rs 10 crore. This is one of the most disappointing things that has happened this year.

Thammudu

Thammudu was planned to be a big-budget action movie with a young cast and help from producer Dil Raju, but it didn't do well at the box office. It lost a lot of money, almost Rs 9 crore, making it one of the worst business failures of the year.

Telusu Kada

A lot of people were interested in Telusu Kada, a love drama, before it came out. But it didn't do well at the box office, making barely Rs 13 crore. People who made it said it was well-received, but not enough people viewed it to make money.

Mass Jathara

People were meant to like Mass Jathara because Ravi Teja played a railway police officer in a way that was distinct from how he had played other parts. People thought the movie was a big flop at the box office because it only generated Rs 20 crore, even though it cost Rs 60 crore to make.

Ghaati

Krish was the director of the movie Ghaati, which starred Anushka Shetty. The movie was supposed to be a gritty drama, but it didn't do well at the box office. It was one of the biggest letdowns in Tollywood's 2025 schedule because the opening wasn't very intriguing and not many people came.

Mazaka

It was likely to do well because of the cast and idea of Mazaka, which starred Sundeep Kishan and Ritu Varma. People didn't like the movie, though, because it was too easy to understand and not really fun to watch. Not many people went to watch the movie, and the reviews weren't very good, so it didn't do well at the box office. It was one of the worst things that happened that year.

Laila

In 2025, Laila did poorly at the box office again. When the movie was out, not many people talked about it, and the excitement died down after a few days. This Vishwak Sen starrer tanked at the box office like never before. It couldn't even cover its basic costs because not many people saw it and the reviews were divided. In the end, they decided it was a failure.
