BLACKPINK new album to be out soon

BLACKPINK may be gearing up for a long-awaited comeback, and fans are buzzing with excitement. According to a new TenAsia report, several insiders have revealed that the group is in the final stages of preparing a brand-new album, with a tentative release scheduled for June 2025.

If true, this would be BLACKPINK’s first group comeback in nearly three years since their chart-topping second studio album BORN PINK dropped in September 2022. The timing has sparked intense speculation among fans, especially since BLACKPINK recently confirmed their 2025 World Tour, which is set to begin in early July. With the pieces lining up, many are convinced the comeback will serve as the perfect launchpad for the tour.

Industry insiders were quoted saying that the members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are actively syncing their individual schedules to prioritise group activities. From recording sessions to music video shoots and concept teasers, the full comeback rollout appears to be in motion. “The members have started blocking time for group promotions,” one source shared. “The new album is planned for release by June at the latest.”

The comeback would also mark BLACKPINK’s first group project following the conclusion of their record-breaking BORN PINK world tour, which spanned 23 countries from October 2022 to September 2023. The tour grossed over $330 million, making it the highest-grossing concert tour by a girl group in history and the sixth most successful tour by any female act worldwide.

In the months that followed, each member pursued solo ventures. Jennie launched ODD ATELIER, Jisoo started BLISSOO, Lisa formed LLOUD, and Rosé signed with The Black Label. The group later renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment solely for group promotions, while retaining individual management.

Though YG has not officially confirmed the comeback, the mounting buzz and insider reports have fans eagerly awaiting what could be BLACKPINK’s biggest return yet.
