Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has delivered multiple blockbusters after making her acting debut with hah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer 1993 hit Baazigar. The actress captivated her fans with her stunning look, but she is also among the celebrities who have gone under the knife.

In a throwback interview with Prabhu Chawla on Seedhi Baat during the early 2000s, Shilpa admitted that she got her ‘nose fixed’ to make it better.

She shared, “Yes I got my nose fixed. So? I did not do it to make it more beautiful. I did it because I thought it could be better.”

However, the actress then addressed the importance of looking ‘gorgeous’ for an actress and noted, “I am not apologetic for being glamorous. It’s not a bad thing. I think it’s important to look glamorous, to look good when you are a heroine."

Shilpa Shetty reflects on her career struggles

Shilpa Shetty talked about the ups and downs of her career and admitted that she wasn’t receiving acting gigs at the beginning of her career.

Shilpa said, “I was getting offered the same kind of roles where I would have small role, three songs. When I would ask people ‘What is the role?’, they would say ‘There are 5 scenes but you have 4 songs.’”

The actress became a nationwide sensation with Dharmesh Darshan’s 2000 blockbuster film Dhadkan. She starred alongside Akshay Kumar and Suneil Shetty in the film, which was a massive hit and still a cult classic. Shilpa hit worldwide fame after winning Celebrity Big Brother in the UK.

Her recent hit credits include Sukhee, Indian Police Force and KD – The Devil.

Shilpa Shetty celebrates her 50th birthday

Shilpa Shetty turns 50th on June 8. The actress celebrated her birthday with a video montage featuring a series of photos from her childhood to adulthood.
