Details about Salman Khan's house party in 2005 revealed

During a recent interview, filmmakers Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru shared amusing and revealing anecdotes from the sets of Lucky: No Time for Love, their 2005 romantic drama starring Salman Khan and debutante Sneha Ullal.

Speaking on the Hindi Rush YouTube channel, the duo recounted how Salman’s legendary parties left a lasting impression on their Russian crew — and not quite in the way they had expected.

The directors recalled cautioning their Russian coworkers against going to one of Salman Khan's renownedly wild parties while talking about the backstage atmosphere during the movie's shoot in Russia. The crew was confident that they could manage the actor's hospitality in spite of their advice.

“We told them (Russian crew) not to go. We told them that they wouldn’t come to work the next day. They said, ‘We are Russians, nobody can out-drink us’,” the filmmakers said.

The Russian crew, confident in their vodka-drinking capabilities, decided to attend the gathering anyway. But the outcome was not quite what they anticipated. “We said, ‘All the best, this is Salman Khan’s party, don’t underestimate…’ The vodka never stopped flowing, and the people kept drinking. They wanted to prove that they are the best in the world when it comes to vodka consumption,” they explained.

Radhika further added, “There were people who rolled down the steps; Russian crew members. When they came the next day, half of them were late, half of them were holding their heads. Russians are very disciplined, they don’t like to be unprofessional. They said that the most shameful thing was that Salman never even swayed. He was standing like a rock. They said, ‘All of us were rolling down, throwing up, and he was also drinking with us, but nothing happened to him.’”
