Kareena Kapoor has returned to work and was spotted on the sets for the first time after her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, was stabbed at their Mumbai home last month.
The actress was seen outside a studio on Tuesday, where paparazzi caught her greeting them with folded hands. In a video that was shared on social media, Kareena looked calm and smiled as she waved at the photographers.
She wore a grey sweatshirt and black bottoms, keeping her outfit simple but stylish. Her hair was left loose, and she added a pair of black sunglasses. Despite the recent events, Kareena looked as gorgeous as ever.
For those who may not know, Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder at their Mumbai residence on January 16. Around 2 AM that night, the actor heard strange noises when one of the female staff members was attacked in the room where their son Jeh was sleeping. Saif stepped in to help, and a fight broke out between him and the attacker. The intruder stabbed Saif six times, and both he and the female staff member were injured. Saif was quickly taken to the hospital and was discharged on January 21 after receiving treatment.
After the attack, Saif and Kareena made sure to increase security at their home. They installed CCTVs and covered their balconies for added safety.
Recently, Saif Ali Khan shared his experience of the night he was attacked. He told the Delhi Times that when he arrived at the hospital’s emergency room, he was familiar with the place. He mentioned that it took the staff a moment to realize that a celebrity was involved, and they quickly understood the strange situation they were dealing with.
Despite the shocking incident, Kareena has continued to stay strong and focus on her work. She is expected to star in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming film Daayra, which has excited many of her fans. It’s clear that, even in difficult times, Kareena remains professional and dedicated to her career.
