Even before its release, War 2, the eagerly awaited action thriller starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, has already swept into the record books. In just seven hours, the Yash Raj Films-produced film, which is a part of the ambitious YRF Spy Universe, became the fastest Indian film to reach the USD 100,000 mark in advance ticket sales in the North American market.

This milestone not only demonstrates the film's widespread appeal but also the intense anticipation for its release. Earlier this year, NTR Jr.'s own film Devara achieved the same milestone in 11 hours and 37 minutes, breaking the previous record.

The fervour surrounding this impending pan-India spectacle is highlighted by the fact that War 2 has drastically shortened that benchmark.

With Kiara Advani in the lead role, the film, which was directed by Ayan Mukerji, is an explosive collaboration between two of the biggest action stars in Indian cinema, Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr.

After the success of films like Pathaan and Tiger 3, the movie is predicted to be the biggest Indian release of the year and will further enhance the YRF Spy Universe.

The makers' strategic marketing approach is noteworthy. The War 2 team is choosing to follow a "less is more" approach, keeping important plot points, character revelations, and action scenes under wraps due to the intense interest in the project.
