The entertainment industry and fans across the nation were left heartbroken following the untimely demise of actress Shefali Jariwala on June 27. The Kaanta Laga fame reportedly suffered a sudden heart attack at her Mumbai residence, passing away before she could receive medical assistance.

Amid the wave of grief, her Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant and close friend, Vishal Aditya Singh, has now shared a deeply emotional post, revealing their last conversation just days before her tragic death.

Taking to Instagram, Vishal posted a screenshot of their WhatsApp exchange, where the two had been planning to meet for dinner. In the chat, Vishal had suggested a few places in Mumbai where they could catch up. Shefali responded, “Sun na today all places will be dead. Shall we go on Friday?”—referring to June 27, the very night she passed away. She had confirmed meeting him at 10 PM that evening for a nice dinner, which tragically never happened.

“She was supposed to meet me that night. I still can’t believe she’s gone,” Vishal wrote in his caption, expressing his grief and disbelief.

According to reports, Shefali died due to a sudden drop in blood pressure, believed to be caused by a possible reaction to anti-ageing medication. Despite attempts to rush her to a hospital, she could not be revived.

Shefali's sudden passing has sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry. Her funeral, held in Mumbai, saw several celebrities in attendance, many of whom were visibly emotional. Her husband Parag Tyagi and mother were seen inconsolable during the last rites.

Stars like Shehnaaz Gill, Arti Singh, Rashami Desai, Paras Chhabra, Mahira Sharma, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Hindustani Bhau attended the funeral to pay their respects. Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who shared screen space with Shefali in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, took to Instagram and mourned her passing, writing, “She was too young.” Her ex-husband Harmeet Singh of the musical duo Meet Bros also shared heartfelt memories of their time together.
