Kohli wasn’t the only one who was celebrating. His wife, Anushka Sharma, was in the stands, cheering for him. She watched with pride and happiness as her husband led India to victory. It was a special moment for both of them, as they shared the joy of this big win. Their bond was evident, blending love and triumph as Kohli’s celebration was made even more special by her presence.

Anushka was also there during India’s Group A match against New Zealand earlier in the tournament. During that match, a moment went viral when Glenn Phillips made a stunning catch to dismiss Kohli, who was playing his 300th match. This milestone made Kohli only the seventh Indian cricketer to reach such a significant achievement. While it was a tough moment for Kohli, Anushka’s reaction to the catch showed her support and love for him, even during difficult times.

Kohli’s performance in the semi-final was crucial to India’s win. He scored 84 runs off 98 balls, helping India chase down a target of 265 with 11 balls to spare. Although he fell just short of scoring his 52nd century when he was caught out by the long-on fielder in the 44th over, his knock was a match-winning contribution. He had been under pressure, but his calm and composed batting helped India stay on track.

After the match, Kohli explained that he doesn’t focus on personal milestones. He said that when he isn’t thinking about reaching a specific number, the milestones happen naturally. For him, the most important thing is the win, and he’s not concerned about achieving personal records anymore.
