Vikrant Massey was rumoured to be joining the movie as the antagonist, but he reportedly left because of the character's lack of nuance.
According to Pinkvilla, Tamil actor Arjun Das is being considered to play the antagonist.
A source close to the production revealed, “Arjun has shown his interest too, as the character has multiple arcs and offers a lot more than just a run-of-the-mill antagonist."
Arjun is well-known for his powerful performances in movies like Master, Kaithi, and Good Bad Ugly. He has established a reputation for giving his characters depth and menace. Don 3 will be his eagerly awaited Bollywood debut if the deal is finalised.
Previously, Kiara Advani was cast opposite Ranveer as the female lead, but she was reportedly left the project, and Kriti Sanon has taken her place.
The film's producers are getting ready to start production in January 2026, while casting choices are being made.
