Actor Vidyut Jammwal is all set to make his Hollywood debut with the film Street Fighter and the makers unveiled his first look on December 12.
The team released the first teaser on Friday, offering fans an exciting glimpse of Vidyut as Dhalsim. Along with it, they shared the film’s poster captioned, "Stretch beyond your limits. VIDYUT JAMMWAL is DHALSIM. #StreetFighterMovie hits theaters everywhere October 16, 2026."

Vidyut steps into the role of Yogi Dhalsim in this highly awaited adaptation, and the 45-second teaser showcases the intense, action-filled universe of the martial arts flick. The film is based on the iconic video game of the same name.
For Vidyut’s fans, the project carries added anticipation, as it marks the actor’s long-awaited entry into Hollywood.
Street Fighter is directed by Kitao Sakurai of Bad Trip and Aardvark fame, and takes inspiration from Capcom’s legendary game series. Set in 1993, the film follows the next World Warrior Tournament, where estranged fighters Ryu and Ken Masters are recruited by the enigmatic Chun-Li. The battles ahead also compel each fighter to confront the demons from their past.

Alongside Vidyut, the film features an extensive ensemble cast: Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Roman Reigns as Akuma, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, WWE star Cody Rhodes as Guile, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, Eric André as Don Sauvage, Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson as Balrog, and Jason Momoa as Blanka.
The cast also includes Orville Peck as Vega, Olivier Richters as Zangief, Hirooki Goto as E. Honda, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli, Alexander Volkanovski as Joe, Kyle Mooney as Marvin, and Mel Jarnson as Cammy.
